Located in Ocean County, the East Dover Volunteer Fire Company #4 serves approximately 27,000 residents in the East Dover section of the Township of Toms River. Looking for areas to save money, the East Dover Fire Company partnered with Castle Energy to install a solar system.
How We Helped
Castle Energy structured an investment group to build, own, and operate the solar system on behalf of the firehouse. Through the investment group, Castle Energy also created a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), reducing the fire company’s annual energy costs by securing discounted electricity.
