Castle Energy is a family-owned and operated business with a decade of combined experience.

James R. Castle – Founder

Prior to founding Castle Energy, J.R. worked for a solar company in New Jersey, where he oversaw the sales of solar projects for residential and commercial clients. He is also a founding partner for Downstown Solar LLC., a renewable energy investment partnership. Additionally, J.R. has over 30 years of experience in the investment and finance industry. His prior experience includes senior positions with Castle Consulting LLC., Janney Montgomery Scott, Putnam Investments, and John Hancock Advisors.

 

 George Castle – Co-Founder

George is a co-founder of Castle Energy LLC., where he oversees all operational and company-client relationships. He is also a founding partner for Downstown Solar LLC., a New Jersey renewable energy investment partnership. George is the Director of Client Relations for Castle Consulting LLC., an investment consulting firm, and has prior experience in the solar energy industry with an east coast solar company.

 

Cheryl Lawn – Business Development and Investor Relations

Cheryl has been in the renewable energy business for 8 years and is responsible for Business Development and Investor Relations for Castle Energy. In this position, Cheryl creates new business opportunities and manages investor relationships with a primary focus on New Jersey. Before coming to Castle Energy, Cheryl was a commercial sales representative with a national solar company.
